Benefit: When you wield a heavy or tower shield in one hand you gain the benefits of Evasion. If you make a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, you instead takes no damage. If you are helpless, you do not gain the benefit of evasion. Unlike normal evasion, you do not need to wear light or medium armor to benefit from this effect.
