You may preserve a severed limb or harvested organ for 24 hours, during which time the limb or organ does not decompose or deteriorate in any way. When the duration of this ritual expires, the severed limb or harvested organ continues to decompose. This ritual is not sufficient to preserve a whole corpse for the purpose of raising the dead.
