Amethyst Lake
This large lake is surrounded by the nations of Luther, Kalisa, Suran and a number of smaller city states. It is the sole border between Luther and Kalisa and thus the site of a great amount of friction and intrigue.
Clear Water Marsh
West of Stormfall lies the Clear Water Marsh, a vast low-lying region of waterways, pools and soggy ground, named for the purity of its water. The water of the swamp never turns brackish and is teeming with fish in many places, which feeds a large number of fishing hamlets in the marsh. Its largest settlement is the trade town of Marshrun which lies on the Clear Water river on the half-way point through the marsh.
Clear Water River
The Clear Water River runs from the Frosten Crags to the Dragon Sea passing through Luther, The Great Mire, Amethyst Lake, Kalisa, The Clear Water Marsh and Luceran along the way. Despite the tensions between Luther and Kalisa, plenty of trade still runs up and down the river.
The Great Grass Sea
North of the civilized nations stretches the Great Grass Sea: hundreds of miles of flat grasslands inhabited by barbarian horseman tribes and surly flat-land spirits.
The Great Mire
A huge swamp in the Kingdom of Luther, the Great Mire stretches for more than a hundred miles along the Clear Water River. The place is plagued with sink holes, stagnant water, insects and bugs. In the past, it was also a breeding ground for malicious spirits, that would creep from the wetness into surrounding villages to drag innocents back into the mire. A serious of contracts and yearly offerings have placated these spirits so this no longer occurs, however travelers in the mire should still be cautious of spirits trying to lure intruders to a watery grave.
