Symbols

Sastix symbol is the tome and the lesser scepter. Martial followers of Sastix usually take up a mace in the shape of the scepter.

His colors are black and silve. His clergy wear black robes with silver trim, while other followers may simply wear black, occasionally with an embroidered tome in silver.

Organization

Worshippers

Sastix is rarely worshipped, except to ask him to intercede with Iroh for crimes which might damn the perpetrator's soul. However, all imperial citizens are usually given peace in death through rituals performed by Sastix's priesthood.

Temples and Shrines

Most temples to Sastix are located in cities, with an attached crematory where most dead are burned, though some churches have attached cemeteries or catacombs for wealthy or notable individuals.

Temples and shrines are more spread out in the countryside, where priests will usually travel from hamlet to hamlet to perform the appropriate rituals for the recently departed.

Holy days and Festivals

The church of Sastix usually does not participate at all in the festival of midsummer, withdrawing to the temples and shrines. In a few places they put on morality plays or offer recountings of past people worth remembering.

Priests of Sastix

Class Skills: Priests of Sastix gain the following class skills: Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (all; Int), Linguistics (Int), Sense Motive (Wis)

Channel Energy: Priests of Sastix channel positive energy, healing living creatures and damaging undead creatures.

Granted Spheres: Priests of Sastix gain the Fate and Death spheres. You also get the Necromantic Limit(reanimate) drawback.

Granted Powers

Gentle Rest (Sp)

Your touch can fill a creature with lethargy, causing a living creature to become staggered for 1 round as a melee touch attack. If you touch a staggered living creature, that creature falls asleep for 1 round instead. Undead creatures touched are staggered for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier.

You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Sun’s Burning Light (Su)

Whenever you channel positive energy to harm undead creatures, add your priest level to the damage dealt. Undead do not add their channel resistance to their saves when you channel positive energy.

Ward Against Deat (Su)

At 6th level, you can emit a 30-foot aura that wards against death for a number of rounds per day equal to your priest level. Living creatures in this area are immune to all death effects, energy drain, and effects that cause negative levels. This ward does not remove negative levels that a creature has already gained, but the negative levels have no effect while the creature is inside the warded area. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.
