At about 3 feet in height, a composite shortbowis made from horn, wood, and sinew laminated together to allow for a greater draw strength.
Note: Each point of Strength bonus granted by the composite quality adds 75 gp to its cost.
For purposes of most feats and talents, a composite shortbowis treated as if it were a shortbow.
If you have a penalty for low Strength, apply it to damage rolls when you use a composite shortbow.
You can use a composite shortbow while mounted.
A composite shortbow fires arrows.
