Population: 4860 (half of which are humans with a sizable minority of dwarves, half-orcs and dark-touched and ratfolk)

The main (and only) town of the Principality of Thiel, Riverhaven lies on the Sorrow River southeast of the Marsh of Sorrow.

Government

Riverhaven is the seat of the prince-regent Stefana Rosenwyn.

The Districts

The Market

The main market, surrounded by the houses and warehouses of the major merchant families, and hosting the Council Hall and temple to Phurus.

Luminous District

Built from the white marble and limstone, this district hosts both the Council of Light Luminous guild hall, and the adventuring guild.

Gray Quarter

The district of middleclass craftsmen and minor merchant. Hosts the City Guard HQ and the temples to Iroh and Sastix.

Red Quarter

A district of craftmen and workers. Hosts the HQ of the Grey Kestrels.

The Docks

Lying by the river, the docks facilitate travel up the river to the Sorrow Marsh and downriver to the empire. The Fishers Market lies close to the water.

Broken Quarter

Burned down a decade ago and semi-regularly flooded, the broken quarter is a mix of new construction atop the old, and semi-damaged buildings, with a scattering of burnt out buildings and the occasional tent city housing refugees from down south.
